Most importantly, Protect The Edge will instill principles that its participants can utilize for a lifetime, encouraging systems of value and building of good character.

Founder/Owner: Quadree "Coach Q" Drakeford
Coach "Q" has played organized basketball for over 13 years, and has coached and administrated camps for 8 years.
Playing with and against some of the best in the nation, he has discovered that talent is never enough. "Many talented players never reach their full potential" he explains, "I was one of them."
In his experience and study of basketball, he believes 80% of all sports is mental and the other 20% being skill and athleticism. "I believe our youth need an E.D.G.E. in life," Quadree proclaims. The E.D.G.E. teaching method will Focus 80% on building character for the game. Coach "Q" explains: "This will not be Basketball Camp as usual. If you want your child to be taught discipline, respect, courage, integrity, goals setting, responsibility, and how to maximize their lives along with their skill in basketball. You want them here! With so many distractions in today's world, our kids need every positive opportunity to allow them to get the E.D.G.E. It's our job to Protect it."
